چکیده

Abstract In the context of growing evidence climate change and fact that agriculture uses about 70% all water available for irrigation in semi-arid areas, there is an increasing probability scarcity scenarios. Water optimization is, therefore, one main goals researchers stakeholders involved irrigated agriculture. Irrigation scheduling often conducted based on simple requirement calculations without accounting strong link between movement root zone, soil–water–crop productivity expenses. this work, we present a combined simulation framework aimed at estimating parameters maximize crop net margin. The component couples variably saturated porous media driven by with uptake yields. assures maximum gain minimum cost production during season. An application method demonstrates optimal solution exists substantially differs from traditional methods. contrast to methods, results show prevents logging provides more constant value content entire season within zone. As result, case, margin exhibits substantial increase respect method. also shown strongly depend particular soil hydraulic properties given field site.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Crop Irrigation Scheduling via Simulation-Based Experimentation

Intraseasonal water allocation to a single crop has been studied extensively. Previous studies have emphasized the need to coordinate irrigation scheduling with several factors including economic and physical constraints, amount of soil moisture available at the time of irrigations, growth stage of the plant, interactive effects from previous and/or subsequent irrigation, and the effect, timing...

Simulation and optimization model for irrigation planning and management

A simulation and optimization model was developed and applied to an irrigated area in Delta, Utah to optimize the economic benefit, simulate the water demand, and search the related crop area percentages with specified water supply and planted area constraints. The user interface model begins with the weather generation submodel, which produces daily weather data, which is based on long-term mo...
